Cooper 1

Cooper 1 is a 7 bed male acute assessment unit.  It provides a rapid response safe place, locked assessment and rehabilitation service for adult autistic men..
 
With a 24 hour, rapid response hotline , this service is particularly useful for adult Autistic men who have been subject to a crisis residential or supported living placement breakdown and need a safe place to reside short stay whilst alternative arrangements are being made.
 
Staff provide a structured and caring environment that meets each individual’s challenging needs and once stabilised, patients are supported onto the rehabilitation units at Lakeside.
