We develop a profile of the way Autism impacts each person. This highlights their strength as well as the areas where support is needed. Our Autism profile summaries the diagnostic criteria and creates a picture that is both Autism focused and person-centred specific. Through this, we are able to work in a truly person-centred and Autism intelligent way.
We helped to develop the industry standard tool, called the Spectrum Star. The star highlights each person’s abilities and areas in which extra support is required. The Spectrum Star is an outcomes measurement tool specifically designed for individuals with Autism. The star enables commissioning authorities to see how an individual is progress within our service. This is identified through therapeutic intervention, supporting individuals to identify where they require more support thereby enabling them to progress while gaining independent skills. This is assure that individuals will need less support over time.
