We use an outcomes-focused approach to empower individuals to maintain choice and control over their own lives. Support is person-centred and tailored to meet each individual’s specific needs. We actively encourage community involvement and the development of new skills within a safe and supported environment.

Our highly trained team understands the unique challenges faced by each person we support. Staff receive specialist training to:

• Build strong, trusting relationships

• Support individuals in developing living skills and social awareness

• Promote access to community resources, college courses, and leisure activities

• Deliver support with empathy, patience, and consistency

At Trevelyan, person-centred planning is about making real, meaningful changes in someone’s life – not just carrying out assessments. We use the Recovery Star Model, a Department of Health-recognised, outcome-based tool that allows us to track and support recovery across key life areas, including:

• Managing mental health

• Enhancing daily living skills

• Building and maintaining relationships

• Increasing self-esteem and motivation

• Gaining greater independence

Trevelyan includes:

• Five en-suite bedrooms

• One step-down studio flat designed to help individuals build confidence and prepare for more independent living

Our environment provides the space and support people need to set and achieve personal goals, building the foundation for greater independence and community integration.
