The Willows is a spacious and calming environment, thoughtfully designed with the people we support helping to choose décor and sort furnishings giving The Willows a homely feel. We support people with complex needs, learning disabilities’, including acquired brain injuries and mental health challenges.
Our bespoke service empowers people to rediscover their identity, grow in confidence and work towards greater independence in a safe and supported setting. Recognising the importance of independence and the ability to set goals for future independent living if there is potential in the future.
We believe in helping people live life on their own terms. Through meaningful support and a deep understanding of each person’s individual needs, we encourage individuals to try new things, develop new skills and explore a wider world of opportunity.
Our Approach
Our primary aim is to deliver the highest quality care, promoting both health and happiness. The willows offers a warm, homely and person-centred environment, where individual’s needs, interests, and ambitions are always at the forefront.
Support plans are tailored to each person and focus on;

- Inclusion and involvement in local sporting activities and team activities in the local community
- Supporting people to live a fit and active lifestyle and well balanced diet

Accommodation
The Willows is registered as an 8 bedded property, on the ground floor there is a communal toilet and wet room, communal lounge with dining area, communal kitchen. One large flat with ensuite facilities and kitchenette. 2 further large size bedroom which share the bathroom facilities.
Newly refurbished communal wet room and toilet facilities.
Also on the ground floor is a medication room and the manager’s/shift leader’s office.
Sleep room facilities for staff.
There are 2 sets of stairs leading up to a large landing area with a further 4 bedrooms one of which has ensuite facilities and a kitchenette.
A laundry room with semi industrial machines for use by people we support.
A quiet lounge area/meeting room. The garden is to the rear of the building with a small lawn and patio area with seating area which is used for barbeques and parties in the summer. A communal smoking shelter is available and can be accessed 24 hours a day.
There is a car park at the front of the property, there is a small lawned area and patio area with seating area to the front of the property with a slope leading up to the front door of the property.
The premises, facilities and equipment all meet or exceed the Regulated Services (Service Providers and Responsible Individuals) (Wales) Regulations 2017 and contain the relevant furnishings.
There was a fully integrated fire alarm system fitted July 2025.
Location
The Willows is located in a quiet, residential area on the outskirts of Neath, just a five-minute walk from local shops and amenities. Neath and Pontardawe are only ten minutes away by car, and there are excellent public transport links to Swansea, Cardiff, and wider South Wales.
