About
The White House is home to up to seven adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. We focus on empowering each person to build their skills, gain confidence, and make progress along their individual pathway to independence. Using an active support model, we offer carefully planned and risk-managed opportunities that encourage personal growth at every stage.
We understand that everyone has different goals—whether it’s developing daily living skills or achieving greater independence. By using a wide range of proven tools and techniques, we work alongside individuals to ensure the best possible outcomes for them.
Person-Centred Planning
At The White House, everything starts with the individual. We support each person to create a personalised support plan that reflects how they want to live their life now, and what they aspire to for the future. Through tailored communication approaches, we ensure every person is actively involved in shaping their journey.
Each person has a dedicated key worker who provides 1:1 support and delivers care using a person-centred approach. This includes:

We’re committed to providing the right level of support for each person—balancing safety with opportunity, and structure with freedom. All care packages are regularly reviewed and adapted to reflect any changes in support needs or aspirations.
Our Team
Our team of dedicated and highly trained staff place the people we support at the centre of everything we do. With a positive and proactive approach, we encourage individuals to reach their full potential. All team members receive ongoing specialist training, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to meet the unique needs of each person.

The White House is located in Bridgend, a welcoming community in South Wales. Ideally situated between Swansea and Cardiff—both just 20 miles away—Bridgend offers a peaceful environment with excellent access to local amenities, community activities, and wider opportunities.
