The Grove

We specialise in supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury or Mental Health needs. Our experienced staff are dedicated to delivering tailored support that maximises independence, encourages community integration, and helps people fulfil their personal aspirations. Through promoting life skills, we support individuals to live more independently and achieve their goals and ambitions. We believe a good life with positive outcomes is possible for everyone, regardless of their disabilities.

Our staff work closely with each person to create a person-centred plan that reflects how they want to live their life now and in the future. Using a variety of communication tools, we ensure everyone is actively involved in developing their own plan.

The Grove is unique in providing specialist brain injury and mental health support led by a staff team fully trained in person-centred approaches. This means every individual receives a bespoke support programme and unique support pathway, including a wide range of vocational, recreational, therapeutic, and leisure activities.

The Grove comprises 12 bedrooms, evenly split across two floors, with 6 bedrooms on each level. Each floor features dedicated communal spaces designed for the comfort and convenience of the people we support. Both floors have separate kitchens to promote independence, and there are two laundry rooms onsite for practicality.

Additional communal areas include two lounges and a conservatory on the lower level, providing ample space for relaxation and socialising.

The residence boasts a generous private garden, complete with a tranquil summerhouse that offers a peaceful outdoor retreat. On the ground floor, 3 bedrooms have ensuite facilities, while the other 3 bedrooms share 2 well-appointed bathrooms. Upstairs, 3 communal bathrooms serve the 6 bedrooms, ensuring a comfortable living environment.

The Grove is conveniently located just a short drive or a 15-minute walk from Kidderminster town centre. Worcester and Birmingham are also easily accessible.

Kidderminster train station is a few minutes away by car, offering regular train services to nearby towns and cities. The town centre also features a bus station providing additional transport options. The Grove has two vehicles, including one that is fully wheelchair-accessible.

Healthcare facilities are nearby, with Kidderminster Hospital and local GP surgeries just a two-minute walk away. Shops and supermarkets are also conveniently close. For recreation, the local leisure centre with swimming facilities is a 10-minute drive away. For wider entertainment and shopping, Merryhill Shopping Centre—with bowling and cinema—is 30 minutes away by car.
