About

Cranwell Court supports ten adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs. We provide meaningful support and encouragement, recognising each person as an individual with unique needs. Our aim is to help people structure their time, build relationships, and find a balance between activities, self-care, work, and leisure, tailored to their personal preferences.

We empower those we support by working with them, not for them, helping people progress on their journey towards greater independence and a fulfilling life.

Our Approach

Our staff work closely with each individual to create a person-centred plan that reflects how they want to live their life now and in the future. Using a variety of communication tools, we ensure everyone is involved in shaping their own plan.

Each person discusses their likes, interests, goals, and aspirations with their Key Worker. These goals might include starting a college course, gaining employment, learning to cook, or building confidence to go out independently. Our dedicated staff support people to achieve these aims.

Our person-centred approach keeps the focus firmly on enabling people to enjoy the highest quality of life, with choice, independence, and happiness.

Positive Outcomes

We recognise the importance of person-led care and helping people move progressively through their care pathway towards independence. Cranwell Court benefits from a large garden, lovingly maintained by one of the people we support. Another individual has achieved an NVQ Level 1 in Catering and participates in part-time voluntary work.

We are proud to have recently supported two individuals to step down successfully to Supported Living.
