About
Cedar House is a warm and inclusive service supporting 14 adults with a range of needs, including Mental Health challenges, Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities, and Physical Disabilities. We focus on helping people build strength, resilience, and self-management strategies, so they can live more independently and confidently.
Every person we support is unique, and our team is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their optimum level of independence, whatever their circumstances or abilities.
Our Support & Approach
At Cedar House, we offer positive, flexible, and empowering support tailored to each person. Using a person-centred approach, we help individuals work toward their personal goals—whether that’s learning new skills, developing coping strategies, or building confidence.
We encourage community engagement and support people to progress towards supported living where appropriate.
Our experienced and highly trained staff team provides holistic support, especially for those with cognitive or physical disabilities linked to mental health. Regular training and on-site inductions ensure our team’s skills remain up to date.
Accommodation & Location
Cedar House offers 14 bedrooms, with 7 en-suite rooms, set within a comfortable and sociable environment. There’s a shared kitchen and lounge for communal living, and a front patio that’s a favourite spot for BBQs and outdoor gatherings.
Located in Bryncoch, Neath, the service is set in a residential area with access to local amenities and community connections that support an active and enriched lifestyle.
